AIKEN, S.C. (April 15, 2026) – Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) employees raised more than $38,000 for the 2026 Heart Walk Campaign, standing — and walking — together to support the American Heart Association’s fight against heart disease. SRMC raised the second highest company amount for the CSRA Heart Walk.

Cutline: Savannah River Mission Completion raised more than $38,000 for the 2026 American Heart Association Heart Walk Campaign, making it the second highest company contributor for the CSRA Heart Walk.
SRMC had 10 teams — over 100 participants — support the campaign leading up to the event at SRP Park in North Augusta, S.C., on March 27. All funds raised by SRMC employees in the annual Heart Walk go to the American Heart Association to support research to save lives.
Kent Rosenberger, the 2026 CSRA Heart Walk SRMC Executive Sponsor and member of the CSRA Heart Walk Executive Leadership Team, said the Heart Walk is a reminder that small steps can lead to big changes in the fight against cardiovascular disease.
“Savannah River Mission Completion’s support of the Heart Walk reflects our commitment to promoting health and wellness for all while inspiring hope for those who are affected by heart disease,” said Rosenberger, SRMC’s Senior Director of Environment, Safety, Health, and Quality. “Beyond our mission at SRS, SRMC continues to be dedicated to making a meaningful impact in our community.”
Jasmine Allen, a radiological work planner for SRMC, served as this year’s SRMC Heart Walk Campaign Chairperson. She said the success of this year’s campaign is a testament to the generosity and passion of the SRMC family.
“Together, we surpassed our goals and proved the power of teamwork in making a difference,” Allen said. “It’s inspiring to see how much our team has accomplished with this campaign. Every dollar raised gets this community closer to preventing and combating heart disease.”
SRMC is the liquid waste contractor for the U.S. Department of Energy at the Savannah River Site (SRS). SRMC comprises parent company BWX Technologies, Inc. with partners Amentum and Fluor. Its team brings the capabilities necessary to accelerate cleanup at SRS through safe nuclear operations, optimized and integrated mission execution, and strong corporate governance.
