Record production at the Salt Waste Processing Facility enabled by installation of improved filters;
Deployment of drones for mapping and sampling to accelerate tank closures;
Digital transformation progress in artificial intelligence/machine learning to accelerate the mission;
Receiving three project management awards from the Department of Energy.

SRMC President and Program Manager Dr. Thomas Burns, Jr. said the achievements in the past year are a result of the team’s commitment to executing the mission with excellence.
“SRMC’s employees are empowering accountability, driving innovation, and taking ownership – and the result of that are the milestones, optimizations, and records achieved this year,” Dr. Burns said. “This relentless pursuit of excellence will guide us to completing the Liquid Waste mission safely and efficiently.”
